What is MICE and what types of events does it include?

MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions. It covers company meetings, incentive trips, congresses, conventions and corporate events at any scale. It is a specialised segment that requires very different management from everyday business travel.

How is organising a MICE event different from booking standard corporate travel?

Corporate travel manages individual trips or small groups with efficiency and cost criteria. A MICE event involves complex logistics: venues, production, catering, activity programmes, group management and attendee experience. They are two distinct disciplines that require specialised teams.

What is the minimum group size to book a MICE event?

There is no set minimum. We manage everything from board meetings for ten people to international congresses with thousands of attendees. Service level and team dedication adapt to the scale and goals of each event.

Can you help us find the ideal venue or destination for our event?

Yes. Venue and destination selection is one of the first phases of the process. We analyse the event profile, number of attendees, budget and objectives to propose the most suitable options in Spain, Portugal and international destinations.

What does end-to-end corporate event management include?

From concept and venue sourcing to on-site coordination on the day of the event. In between, everything: supplier negotiation, registration management, attendee accommodation and transfers, AV production, catering, activities and budget tracking.

Do you also manage incentive trips for employees or clients?

Yes. Incentive trips are one of our specialities within MICE. We design bespoke experiences that strengthen team commitment or reward top clients, taking care of every detail from proposal to return.

Can you handle AV production and event build?

Yes. We have in-house production capability for events requiring staging, lighting, sound, live streaming or AV content. We do not rely on external subcontractors for key production elements.

How is budget control managed in a MICE event?

From the start of the project we define a detailed budget by line item and monitor it continuously throughout the process. Our client has full visibility of spend at all times and receives a complete financial close-out when the event ends.

Can you organise MICE events outside Spain?

Yes. We organise events worldwide and have a network of local suppliers in major international markets. Coordination is managed from Spain, with a single point of contact centralising all on-site operations.

How can I request a quote for a corporate event?

Contact us with basic event information: type, approximate date, number of attendees and destination or geographic preference. With that, our team prepares an initial no-obligation proposal. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the first proposal will be.

What is the difference between a congress, a convention and a corporate conference?

A congress brings together professionals from a sector to share knowledge, usually with talks, panel discussions and exhibition. A convention is an internal company event focused on aligning teams or presenting results. A conference is smaller and centred on a specific topic or speaker. All three require specialised management, but with different approaches.

What is an incentive trip and what is it for?

It is an experience designed to recognise and motivate employees or clients who have achieved specific goals. When executed well, an incentive trip strengthens commitment, improves talent retention and builds an emotional bond with the company that is hard to achieve through other means.

How is the return on a corporate event or incentive trip measured?

Through indicators such as attendee satisfaction, impact on subsequent sales or productivity, participation levels and achievement of objectives defined before the event. We help our clients establish those indicators from the outset so the event has a measurable purpose.

What role does technology play in MICE event management?

It is essential. Registration platforms, event apps for attendees, accreditation systems, real-time surveys and hybrid streaming tools are part of our standard operation. Technology improves the attendee experience and makes logistics easier to control.

Can you organise hybrid events with in-person and virtual attendees?

Yes. Hybrid format is increasingly common in corporate events. We manage the technical infrastructure to connect remote attendees with the in-person experience: live streaming, interactive participation and content adapted to both formats.

How far in advance should you start planning a MICE event?

It depends on scale and destination. For large events or peak dates, starting six to twelve months ahead is ideal. For smaller events, three months is usually enough. In any case, the earlier you start, the more options and better conditions you get.

Which destinations are most in demand for corporate events in Spain?

Madrid and Barcelona host most corporate events thanks to infrastructure and connectivity. Beyond major cities, destinations such as Seville, Valencia, Málaga and the islands are growing for events that combine business and experience. For international incentives, Lisbon, Rome, Amsterdam and Dubai are highly requested options.

How is sustainability managed in corporate events?

By selecting venues with environmental certifications, minimising waste, offsetting travel emissions, prioritising local catering suppliers and reducing printed materials. More and more companies ask us to make sustainability a criterion from the event design phase.

Can you manage events for companies with multiple offices or international attendees?

Yes. We coordinate logistics for attendees travelling from different countries or cities, centrally managing flights, accommodation and transfers. A single team controls all movements to ensure every attendee arrives on time and without issues.

What information do you need to start working on a MICE proposal?

Event type, date or time window, approximate number of attendees, preferred or open destination and indicative budget are enough for a first proposal. You do not need everything finalised: part of our value is helping you define what is not yet decided.
